Hiatt cuffs - backloading ?

Just a quick question as I don't own any Hiatt cuffs and they mention their backloading feature in their ads.

What exactly is this feature and what does it do ? I couldn't find any info on the web about how it works.

Backloading is when you have the cuff in the open position and you swing the bow backward through the cheek plates to set the cuff up on the last possible locking notch. It is basicly a set-up position to aid in quick and easy cuffing for the officer, magic assistant, wife, master, or whoever else may be doing the cuffing. LOL!
