#1Hi all! Today is my birthday and my wife, Kellie, gave me some cool handcuffs. These cuffs are not rare but, they are unique. They are S&W model 104 max-security cuffs but, what makes them unique is the etching on the cheek plate. This is something new that Handcuff Warehouse is offering on most of their steel handcuffs. I guess they will put most anything you want (up to 20 spaces) on them, and I imagine they would appreciate everyone keeping it clean. LOL!
Think of all the cool things you could do with this kind of service. For the people who use cuffs for recreation, you could have the days of the week put on them! Peerless mod. 700 could have Monday on them, S&W mod. 100 could have Tusday on them, and so on! Escape artists can get things like: Raiford Prison on one cuff and Death Row on the other! Collectors can have the date they bought them put on so a hundred years from now, your great grandchildren will have a clue as to how old these cuffs are! I think this new service has some potential!

Happy belated birthday! I have the same late model 104 cuffs with the Smith & Wesson name and trademark logo stamped clearly on one cuff, but barely visible on the other. Since I bought them on sale, I was actually wondering if they were seconds.
I also recently noticed that there is now a Zak Tool made of carbon fiber that will fit these. Very convenient for officers that must use these cuffs often, but not exactly in accord with their intended purpose, especially since it would elude even the most sensitive metal detector.
