I am a relatively new collector from Sydney Australia, and new to this forum.
I have 5 sets of Hiatt darby handcuffs and one pair of old Hiatt leg irons in my collection. Some have "British Made" stamped on them, along with "hard" and "warranted wrought" etc.
The older looking cuffs only have "Hiatt" near the hinge and a number.
My question is if they don't have a "British Made" stamp, does this indicate
they were made before a certain date ? If so, what is this date ?
