Manacles

I bought some manacles off a bondage site, sure they're not a historical piece, but hard to find manacles like these without paying quite a bit of money.

They look homemade.

And, with that first link welded onto the cuff, it would be easy to snap the chain from the cuff surface and fly like a bird.

These look similar to the ones that Shawn Ness sells over at the E.A.R.L. escape store. I wonder if they are???

I have seen these in the flesh in my book nothing to write home about. They take probably some piping and saw it down the middle and weld a hinge on. Then it looks like they take a chain link almost cut in the middle to make the staple that is welded on so they can be locked. Then they weld on some 2/0 chain to link them together.

A blacksmith supposedly custom makes this item by hand, but I can't seem to find production manacles like these anywhere else on the net.

I don´t know exactly the manufacturer of this model, but there is one good manufacturer of good restraints in my coutry - the Czech Republic.

They look very close to the Metal Masters models which are all custom made. The chain itself is the only variation difference. They may be an earlier model before I started carrying their line.

Metal Masters do not have a website and do not usually sell to the general public.

The "bondage," gear, (I am the only site that does not sell it with that moniker) was/ is just a side job for extra money when they found there was a large nitch for that type of thing.

I have the most complete list of their work http://www.ealib.org/exotic.htm there were a few items that I do not carry but can easily get from them.
