Cuffs used in movie "Hostel"

Does anyone know which type of cuffs/leg irons were used in the movie "Hostel"?
The cuffs were a hinged model (not US made).
The leg irons looked like Hiatts but it was hard to tell. If anyone has seen the movie they'll know what I'm talking about. The movie was filmed in the Prague/Czech Republic area.
BTW, that movie gave me the creeps! I'm never leaving the US! (just kidding).

I can't post a pic because I went out to see the movie. The cuffs look like Ralkem or Safelock, it's hard to tell. The leg irons look like Hiatts. The movie only shows limited shots of them when the victim is placed in the torture chamber. Again, this movie will send chills up your spine. I can't say I'd want to see it again. :0

Hostel sounds interesting! Never seen it...never heard of it.
I was just watching one of my favorites, Dances with Wolves and could not identify the cuffs that Costner was locked up in when the soldiers arrested him for being a traitor. They were a long chain darby but the keyway looked like it had a bushing around it that was different that a Hiatts.
Anyone with a big screen Hi-Def TV out there?
Sure wish that pair ends up on eBay.

Hi Again,
I was just watching Birdman of Alcatraz and 1 minute into it, the Author of the book states that the story begins in 1912. A moment later some prisoners are being transported by train to Leavenworth Prison. One of them is wearing a Harvard cuff.

I don't think so!

I know that there are a lot of inconsistancies with this picture but I hoped that they could have paid more attention to the cuffs.

speaking of film faux pas's, anyone notice the late die cast alloy darbies used in the titanic film, theres a great close up of the key, and surely steel cuffs would'nt have given up to the axe so easily.....lol..i know its just a film.....and they would'nt rust either..sorry, could'nt resist..lol.

if you have a picture let me know, I try to identify these cuffs. I have read many about that movie, it was filmed in my country and the music was performed by czech artists. I will try to have a look at that film.

Once more from me,

great success - I managed to download a free clip as an advertisement for this movie and in one section there are those handcuffs shown. The quality is bad, but you can stop the film at that picture. I guess that the model used there is Ralkem 9922 or 9927. It seems that those cuffs have Ralkem teeth on jaws and I am sure I saw a hole for double locking on the botton edge of lock case. So at 98% Ralkem.

In terms of those leg irons - I only guess Ralkem. That man has his legs in near proximity = short chain and only Ralkem legirons have so short chain. In addition no other cuffs are available here and as far as I know also american filmers use czech cuffs when taking films here.

E.g. in movie Blade - also czech Ralk cuffs were used. Mission impossible too.

I thought they were Ralkem cuffs. Now, if the women look that good over there, I might (might) take a trip!!
I don't think I'll be drinking anything suspicious or visiting any old factories! (LOL)

Make this trip, surely!!! You will be surprised, czech girls are beautifull on general:) And czech beer and food - delicious. If you come give me know, I recomend some good tips.
