Palmer Cuffs

Does anyone have a detail drawing or picture of how the locking mechanism works on the Palmer cuffs. Thanks

I have detailed drawings done by Ian McColl on the Microsoft Paint
Program. You should try Ian. He has them already in his computer.
It's really a simple locking mechanism, with a screw key as double lock which screws through lock body into the groove in the receiving end of the cuff bolt or the Chain, whichever it's attached to. Opposite the screw double-lock is a spring loaded bolt which clicks into the same groove and locks the restraint. It is withdrawn with a key which screws into the bolt and is drawn back. Again, it doesn't matter if the two handcuffs are together, or if a chain separates them.

The inventor said that the screw lock was there as a back up in case the simple spring loaded lock failed to work. Interesting that after so many years I have never heard of the spring lock failing.
