Fitwell Made In Spain Handcuffs, What are they??

Dose anyone know of Fitwell, I've never heard of them till now! are they any good, should I add them to my collection?

Fitwell cuffs are the same Peerless type clones Alcyon produced in the late 60's, early 1970's.

There are other names this type of cuff goes by such as "Alamo", "Police Detective", and 'Shurlok".

It may be a personal thing, but I have always found Spanish cuffs to be very nice, sturdy, and well made.

As long as you don't pay over $20.00 for them it is a good buy.

i agree with steve, the alcyon cuffs are one of my favorites too, they are the first brand that i brought back in the late seventies. they were cheap but nicely finnished, well worth collecting. just my thoughts, chris.

I like the alcyons too, i have just placed an order for the alcyon 5050 rigid cuffs which look fab, I have not been dissapointed with the other two pairs i have bought.

Personally, I like the older Alcyon and Spanish cuffs.

I too like the Alcyons,and have a few pairs, but in my opinion nothing will ever rival the hiatts range, just a personal preference
