Well NIJ standards don't look at picking or shimming ease, just at construction strength as I understand it. So they certify that you're not going to be able to break out of them with pure force, but not that they're proof against someone with a pick.

This should arguably be different, but then everyone would have to carry chubb escorts.

even after owning a pair i still wouldn't think that they are biult to nij standards.....but i guess looks can be decieving
