KB-917's Irish 8 Key interchange

I got some KUB Industries #917 Irish 8's recently, thnks Chris.

The Lady (small) uses Key 4
Key A turn & pull
Key 6 works

The Medium (regular) uses Key A
Key 4 doex not work
Key 6 works

The Mens (large) uses Key 6
Key 4 turn & pull
Key A turn & pull

These keys will not open a Haitts 104H, and the Haitt keys 104H, 104L and 115 will not open the KUB, the internal threads are a different pitch.

Looks as I should get some spare KUB Keys # 6 to have on hand.

Does anyone know what other keys KUB uses besides 4, A & 6?

hi howy, glad to hear your pleased with the eights, ....the numbers/letters stamped into the cuffs and keys dont seem to make any differance, of the 18 pairs that i had all the keys of all the sizes worked in all the cuffs!, only the length of the keys were different. i think the threads may well be of a different pitch from the old cuffs, metric threads perhaps?...i have found one other spare medium size key if you want it, drop me an e at the usual addy... dean gunnerson, did you receive your three pairs okay?, hav'nt heard from you!...ttfn.chris.
