anyone dealt direct with KUB or Victorworks?

I sent an email to KUB saying basically "i'm a collector am interested in purchasing a few items directly for personal use". Surprisingly I got a reply asking for my info and promising a price list, etc. No luck from Victorworks. Question- has anyone dealt direct with KUB before? I'm a little leery of the internation transfer aspect, but I was researching on ebay- someone is selling their irish 8 very regularly. The start it at 34.95 which leads me to believe if that's their bottom line they are paying maybe 1/2 that for them. Of course some have gone in the 60 dollar range, but it seems to me if I order several things, even with shipping I would be way ahead buying direct. Opinions?

When you have a lot of patience, it is a good idea to order direct from KUB but in my experience it takes 3 to 9 months for them to send an order.

That said someone pointed out to me on this board a few days ago the rather inflammatory remarks now resident on their homepage which makes me question whether I would like to do business with them.

9 month?! Wow like a pregnancy! And I always thought that I hold the record with 6.5 months waiting. Patience is a virtue - especially when dealing with Pakistan.

Another disadvantage is that they do not accept credit card or PayPal payment, only direct bank transfer, which costs a lot of bank fees (at least from Germany). Last but not least you should not forget the custom fees and taxes - so the price for some Pakistani cuffs - especially when buying only a single item - can increase a lot.

I'm not proud of this record but it really tought me to have patience
Bank transfers from Belgium to Pakistan also cost a lot of money so we're even on that one.

I found out the trick to getting in touch with them- use the "brain.pk" email- they get right back to you. their price list, like KUB, is more than reasonable. I am waiting on their fund transfer info. I saw their statement. It is directed at denmark, not the US. AT any rate, I am buying restraints, not debating politics and religion. I feel that they are entitled to their opinion in a free society. I personally don't have a dog in that hunt. I just want to conduct business.
Anyone interested in their stuff should email me pretty soon. I will definitelt be placing an order- I will be buying some extra to sell. Of course for anyone here there will be no markup- you pay what I pay, but you will have to pay up front as I will have to.
