My copy of "British Handcuffs A Collector's Guide to Vintage Handcuffs" arrived today.

I would like to congratulate you on an outstanding and thorough piece of work.

A huge amount of information has been compiled, correlated and preserved for the benefit of collectors both now and in the future.

I'm certain many of my questions will be answered but then..... A whole new series of them may result.
No more hot news about Firmans.... I promise.

The British Handcuffs book was fun to put together. I learned a lot doing it. Of course it is already out of date, because we have learned quite a bit more since it first came out.

Eventually there will be a second edition. But don't worry it won't be soon.

Having recently purchased this book myself, I agree it is a fantastic wealth of information. Very well written, and lots of nice photos to help with identification.
Highly recomended.
