Tower Dbl. Lock

Just purchased a pair of Tower Dbl. Lock Cuffs. What a pain! They constantly want to close. Started putting cotton balls in the ratchet entry (sorry if that's the wrong term) to stop them from locking all the time. I'll bet the Police that carried these cussed up a storm when these were in use while trying to wrestle an offender and get these open and on.

Some old cop I was once talking to told me that some members he knew used to put spent and crimped 38 cal. cartridge casings over the bows of the Tower cuffs when they carried them in thier pocket.

This would keep the bows from locking by accident.
