I just bought a pair of Hiatt Peerless cuffs. They were part of the "Jim Stewart house cleaning" auctions on eBay. The listing says,"Hiatt in Birmingham made this version of the famous USA product for a
very limited time in the Seventies."

The cuffs are pictured in Alex Nichol's book and simply described as the last version of the Hiatt Peerless cuffs.

Does anyone know anything more about the history of this version?

Wasn't this based on the model 1970 where you activated the double lock on the face of the cuff? This one you pictured looks alot more beefed up than the average one.

It's probably not authentic. There's a lot of scams on E-Bay. You have to watch yourself.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion.. BUT when someone (JP) doesn't know Blue Line is a knock off brand imitating Hiatts; How in the Hell can they offer an opinion on any handcuff? Let alone something like this Hiatt Peerless model which is %100 Authentic !! Honestly if you don't have some knowledge or basis for your opinion; then don't offer it !!!!!!!!

And that's my opinion !!
