Asp Hinged Cuffs

While surfing the net, I've come accross some complaints regarding the new Asp hinged cuffs. Apparently, a few people have had combative subjects that actually bent the hinge pin to the point where the cuffs become stiff to fold back into place. Does anyone else have negative experiences with this model? Asp just can't seem to get their cuffs 100% right.
