Contact to people in the US (NYC, Chi., LV, LA)

Hi,

'll be visiting the US a few weeks from now and be quite around a bit (Manhattan,Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles mainly), and it would be helpfull to know somebody who would be willing to let me have a few things sent to him for pickup on my trip. Don't worry, nothing of much value or illegal stuff, more things which aren't worth shipping individually here to germany, for example a few locks I'm interested in which I didn't manage to buy in local shops in NYC on my last visit. Possibly not even handcuffs, have to find out first if it would be legal to take them with me on the way back or if that qualifies as an export even though I do it myself for only personal use.

So if anybody in the mentioned areas would be willing to help please reply, can't offer much in return except for a talk with a friendly fellow collector from germany (that's me ) about handcuffs, lockpicking and such...

If there's nobody from these areas here: any other hints? Can I have such things sent to hotels, post offices or similar as a tourist?

I live about two hours outside Chicago, but work in the City. But I'll be away most of mid July. What's your schedule? By e-mail if you prefer.

You can have things shipped to your hotel in advance of your arrival. I'd call the hotel and have them specify how the package should be marked.
