1860's Hiatt hand forged Handcuffs

I have been left to me a pair of hand forged Hiatt cuffs as used by my Great Grandfather in Birtley Co. Durham England.
He was the first Police officer in Birtley in approx 1860 and the cuffs are small basic with a separate key with the No 3 hammered in.
The main cuffs have HIATT and HARD stamped on them.
The key operates them using a thread/helix type crewd aND basic operation.
I am keeping them on show along with truncheon etc (I too am a poilice officer in the same area as was my father before me)
Any ideas what price I should insure this family possession?

It is really wonderful that you have your great grandfathers cuffs. A great bit of family history.

But the value is not all that high, simply because the Hiatt cuffs are so common. A standard pair of Hiatts with matching key is usually priced at about 30 pounds or so.
