Hi Joe,

that's the error, which I reported to www.moviemistakes.com after seeing "Titanic" many years ago. It should still be in their database somewhere. It's definitely no Hiatt Darby from 1912.

Darbies were around then, but the key design is recent. Also when they are put on jack they make a modern handcuff ratcheting noise.
