I'd go with the Hiatts. I've heard reports from several members here, that the ASPs are not all that stout.

What about the Kyoung Chang Pink Anodized Aluminum ones? I have used those and they are pretty good cuffs.

The Hiatts are ok but the paint will wear off. The ASPs are very nice but comes with only one key and are a lite chunky. The Kyoung Changs are very well made and very light and I would rate them as the best gift although the colour is not that bright.

Just be darn careful with the Kyoung Changs.

They may look pretty with the colours and all but they do have problems.

With these cuffs the key is made out of cheap cast alloy and is prone to snapping off inside the lock when accidentally turned the wrong way and with not too much force.

Also, I have seen pairs where the internal lock works have been slightly mis alligned and the key is able to travel past the single lock function and become "captured" in the lock works.

*Note: If this happens and the cuff is not locked on a wrist, push the bow arm free of the ratchet teeth and using a small flat head screwdriver push the ratchet teeth down as far as they will go while trying to turn the key back and get it free.

Sometimes this will work.

To answer your question they are a gift for my wife, I am not sure she totally appreciates my handcuff collecting hobbie and I thought a nice pink pair would make her smile. They will most likely end up in my collection. Thanks again everyone.
