RARE - Mattatuck/Kahlke and others for sale

Hi all:
I am in the process of listing some scarce cuffs. I would prefer to keep the sale private and not on ebay.
Among them is the Prototype made by mattatuck along the Kahlke patent. It is fully operational and just like mattatucks the bows have to be opened all the way to activate the lock.
I am including a pic or two.

Nice cuffs.

I made,( modified the original 104's), the solid darby one over 25 years ago and traded it Dennis Wright in Canada (from whom you got your Kimball).

Nice to see it again after all these years.

How do you know the first cuff was made by Mattatuck if it is unmarked?
Is there a key with it?

the prototype was one of several that hung on the walls of one of mattatuck's early chiefs. This pair was purchased from the widow ( i dont know the name)
mattatuck was known for making a lot of interesting designs

I've seen and played with Mike's Tower/kahlke. He brought it to a few conventions in Indy I attended. It's a wonderful piece. It sure blew our
minds when he removed it from it's bag. Good luck Mike, I hope it finds
another good home. Wish I could make an offer worthy of it's uniqueness,
but I've been busy adding plenty of Houdini to the collection so money is tight. Steve, nice job on the darby's, they look great too!

the mattatuck/kahlke prototype and brass legiron have gone to a good home. I have been asked what price they generated it was north of $150.00 US.
