Unknown Darby Handcuffs

Hi all!

I need some help to identify a set of Darby Handcuffs acquired this evening (Swedish time). These cuffs are very heavy and extremely well made. First I thought them to be a later version of the Swedish manufactured J Walén handcuffs but I’m pretty sure they are not. I'm also pretty sure they are not of British origin.

One interesting detail is that the swivel is connected directly to each cuff; normally there is one link on each side. I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures but I’m used to take my pictures in daylight.

-Anyone having a clue? Joe, you are the master of Darby handcuffs.

I do not recognize them. I agree that they are not British. The flat bottom of the lock case is sort of like other Swedish cuffs, but they are certainly different than anything I have ssen.

Nice looking cuff though. Congrats on a nice purchase.

Thanks Joe,

It's amazing how unknown models keep popping up from time to time. As you say, they are definitely not British made and they might be Swedish due to the flat bottom. The seller told me that he bought them at a flee market on the country side for only $14. You see, there are still a lot of bargains to make.
