Yes indeed, the manufacturer is recalling the production with the metal push button. RIVOLIER modifies this model by a new mechanism. It will be very easy to identify the new model......The push button will be black.

If you have got the first model with an engraving POLICE NATIONALE or GENDARMERIE NATIONALE , keep it!!! it will be a value model

Hi

For your information, after the serious problem about the second lock on a new model, RIVOLIER has modified the systeme. Thanks to the photo just below you can see on the left side the vintage push button and on the right side the new push button.



If you have got the left model with the first push button systeme, keep them. Your cuffs will go up in value!!! And the must, of course, will be having handcuffs with the engraving "Police Nationale"

You can easily read the engraving "POLICE NATIONALE" on the photo. A proof which just shows the origin from the french administration.

If you are interested by the model 2002 with the first push button be advised that I have got only one model for trade or sale.

Thanks so much for your request but if ATAME has this model with the engraving for sale I suggest you to send a mail to cuffsland. Keep me advise if you encounter a problem to find this model. It will be a real pleasure to deal with you.

As a gereral rule it is not very easy to find this set with the engravings The engravings had been removed(see below). The cuffs with "POLICE NATIONALE" were the property of the french administration.



As far as I am concerned, I shall never have the cuffs above in my collection. For me, the models had been damaged

Hi Petchi,

this pciture from Cuffsland is an old picture. I know for sure that Cuffland (BTW that's my wife's shop) only has models with official "POLICE NATIONALE" mark (on the place were the shiny circle on the picture above is) left in stock. So if you order this model at Cuffsland you will surely get an officially marked one.
