Tower's double lock handcuffs with extra markings

I aquired this pair of tower's double lock handcuffs a few years ago on ebay. The seller said in the auction that they belonged to a WW1 soldier who was an MP(military police). They are marked tower's double lock which is stamped upside down on one cuff and B.S. Co. on the other cuff. does any have any information about what the B.S. Co. could stand for?
is it unusual for a set to be stamped with the manufacturer name upside down?
Any info would be appreciated.

Doing a search of all current and defunct couties in all of the US, there appears to be only one B.S. County (no pun intended). That would be Big Stone County in Minnesota.

I did some research on this and now believe that the B.S. co. marked on these cuffs stands for the

Burns Security co. which was bought out long ago and along with Pinkerton is now part of Securitas.
