hi

I've won an ebay listing from handelshop24-de after the listing I ask about the payment how to do and how much
they send an email with the listing price I've won for and the shipping cost of 8,50 euro after 3 weeks they come with a email that I must pay more shipping cost
Ididn't agree with it and say to them that they must ship for what we agree with
they didn't resonp on emails
only after 5 weeks now that I left negative feedback (I didn't receive not jet)they can respond and only with the question if I will remove the negative feedback
has anyone have the same problems
and how can I solve this
ebay did not much in this

I've had the same problem with this seller but paid the extra few euros they asked for. In the future I will simply avoid this seller as he clearly tries to make extra money on top of the shippingcost he states in his auctions.

Hi there,

I had nearly the same problems with these guys, too:
I was the highest bidder in an auction from seller "handelshop24-de". They charged me 6.90 EUR shipping costs for shipping a pair of thumbcuffs as a parcel, but they shipped it as a letter for just 1.65 EUR. After weeks with several eMails and apologies/promises from them to send my overpaid money back - nothing happened at all. So I left negative feedback for that eBay - transaction. Just one day after that they sent me 2,50 EUR back (= 48% of that what they owed me) & asked me to remove the negative feedback. I replied that I won't do that because the still owe me some money. Then I finally got my complete money back.

To make a long story short: I cannot recommend doing business with these guys! It seems to me that they try to make extra profit with exorbitant shipping costs.

It's important on eBay that, whenever there is any question, particularly regarding shipping, you ask the seller before the auction closes. Some sellers charge exorbitant shipping fees. That's against eBay's new shipping policy, but I don't know how well it's enforced. My guess is that it is an area they will enforce because the extra shipping fees rob eBay of their share of the take.

If they try to change the terms of the auction after it closes, eBay has a dispute process to resolve it. Basically, the seller is required to sell for the terms that were in effect whan the auction closed. Lord knows I've lost money on stuff when I carelessly priced it too low.

I've found eBay to be virtually useless in trying to resolve a dispute, even when the other party was indisputably at fault. I guess they have so many complaints to deal with that it's only the most serious that get any real attention.

pay by paypal then when item arrives after some time tell paypal item never arrived then get money back from paypal

hi

now I've got real problems
this problem with handelshop never solved but ebay has trow me out because I've said they corrupt they earn a lot of money from h-24 so they won't help me get my money back
after 6 or 7 weeks after this transaction ebay don't like me and kick me out because there is a problem and they don't know how to deal with it
so it easy kick everyone who has a problem and then the problems solved

How did you pay?

If you paid with PayPal or with a credit card, you can do a chargeback. Even better, if you used PayPal, AND funded that with a credit card, because if PayPal turns you down, then you can do a CC Chargeback. But let PayPal do their thing first, as they will cancel your claim once you do a chargeback, to prevent you from double collecting.

Go to eBay and file a Non Performing Selled (NPS) dispute. They won't tell you what happened, but if they get enough of those, they will boot the seller.

Leave feedback last. It's your least effective solution.

hi

first I've payed by paypal but they sent me back to ebay cause there was a conflict about the payment h-24 has opened this
they said that I've not payed yet
so there was the first problem I had payed but they say it's not enough
they say that later
after many many emails to h-24 and ebay and paypal I've left negative feedback to h-24 and also to ebay and paypal cause they ask me
now ebay is pissed off
after I've said that there is no sellers protection
also paypal let it what it is
h-24 has a lot of power they payed a lot to ebay for there actions

now I was thinking to quit with collecting
there is no fun after these for me for collect any more

I wouldn't quit after one jerk. I just was ripped-off today myself. I guy sold me the Houdin book from the Magic Cafe. After telling me twice he mailed it(he didn't), it came today. He dropped it in a box and didn't send the dust jacket. He's a low-life.

You should take a look at your collection and think of all the nice pieces and the goood times you have had with it. You'd be beeter off.

You get jerks like this every so often. The more you collect, the better a chance you have to run into these weasels. On the other hand, you have a great collection to look upon, because you collect so much.

why quit I like my cuffs so much
and it is what you al say collecting cuffs is something what belongs to me
and after al these years of collecting and now with my small collection (200)
cuffs to quit it is not a smart thing isnt it

the only problem is that eBay has blocked my ip-address and I don't know how to get a new one. Any suggestion is welcome.

I agree with the above statements but when eBay has blocked your ip, I have no clue how you can get a new one without changing to another internet provider.

Giving up on your collection would be a stupid thing to do as you have spent lots of time and money on it.

sometimes closing your Internet providers window and opening a Internet explorer window helps, or use a search engine to get to the site. That's what I have to do here. For some reason every now and then this site blocks me from viewing or leaving messages, so I minimize my AOL window and open an Internet explorer window, and access this site from there.

That will change your IP address enought to gain access.

Everyone who has collected for any length of time has had problems with a purchase.
I'm having a problem with a British company. I bought cuffs on their web site and paid with a credit card. The card was charged 10 days ago (the charge is on my statement), but I don't have the cuffs. The information on the order on their web site shows that they are waiting for credit card approval. This would not bother me, except they have not answered my emails about the order. I will post the company name her if I don't get any resoultion to the problem within another week. They also do business on ebay, and I sent them an additional email through their ebay account. I hope ebay doesn't kick me off for that.

They IP blocked you? Wow! You must have really POed some nutless minor twerp. I didn't even know they did that! Usually, they just kill your account. You can easily open another, but you need a new bank account and a new e-mail address. A free Yahell account works fine. Over here, you can just open a new free bank account at the grocery store. It's good to have multiple eBay accounts, as you can use one to buy and one to sell. Bad feedback on your buying account won't harm you in your selling.

If they've truly IPd you, you may need to log on with a new ISP or maybe through an anonymous server. AOL should work as an anonymous server, for this purpose, as they have dynamic IPs. AOL is otherwise a pain in the arse, if you ask me, but any port in a storm.

The safe way to buy on eBay is to use a credit card. This means you have to deal with PayPal. But if you don't have sufficient funds in your PP account, you can pay with your credit card. That way, if PayPal denies your dispute, you can do a chargeback on your CC. But PP usually does a pretty good job of protecting the buyer, provided you follow their procedures. The selling community really hates PP, but ya gotta pay to play.

Unfortunately eBay has gotten too big.... They are now the 800 pound gorilla and they know it. Yes there customer service aspect has been declining for a number of years. Yes, they are intentionally turning there head away from problems as much as they can get away with. They are trying to be in compliance with the laws but in the process has lost common sense. There is another problem that they are having a hard time dealing with and that is the increasing amount of stolen property being sold. Patrick and others who have had issues along with myself. There isn't much that can be done unless you want to bring legal action against them, and they know this too. In Patrick's case the solution for them was to block your IP address basically throwing you out to the gutter. Keep in mind eBay is in business to make money and provide a service in order to charge there fees. Dealing with problems cost them money, and bigger the problem, the more money it costs them. ebay isn't the only game in town and there are more little auction sites popping up all the time. I saw one last year called something like ebanned to pick up on the stuff that eBay won't sell. Too bad we can't warn people on eBay with that little primer on handcuffs of what to watch out for.
