My friend owns a set of Waldens, or Lady Waldens as they have been called. Does anyone have an idea on how much they are worth these days?

If I remember correctly, the pair of Waldens you are talking about are in pretty good shape and the plating pretty much intact. I would like to see Ian make some repros of them, I though they were rather cute cuffs.

I was contacted by "Bob" a few days ago to ask for the value of this cuff. I should start charging for appraisals for people who end up putting the cuff on ebay. I get many requests for values and then the cuff ends up on ebay with my price as the starting price or the reserve.

Ebay is in no way an accurate judge of any market.

Depending who is online and who sees which item, the same item can sell for piles one day and the very next day it may not reach it's value at all.

I would have to say Ebay is the most inaccurate way out there to judge real market value for any collectibles.
