Guinness World Record Handcuffs for Sale

I have used these cuffs to break the World record twice. Once in November 2006, and the second time in January of 2007. The original distance to beat was 2.4 km and I bested that initially with a 5.8km effort. 2 weeks ago I broke my own record by 14.1km to make the current record 20km (12.4 miles) and spent close to 17 hours in the water. Both events were for charity and subsequently I have been able to raise close to $3000 which will pay for the tuition of 160 students for one year as well as paying for all staff, rent, amenities for the school. I am also in the final process of sending in all of the applicable Guinness forms (Claim # 178143) and am more than willing to have the name of the certificate be the name of the highest bidder of the cuffs, ie. 'World longest Handcuffed Swim-Your Name'. The record is of no importance to me as it was for charity and subsequently the money from the highest bidder will go to my charitable foundation. I have turned down an offer from Ripley's museum for several hundred dollars as I do believe they can fetch a much higher number...especially since it comes with the record and will be going to charity. I am a Canadian currentlly living in Cambodia but the foundation headquarters are in Los Angeles and they will ship all applicable items from there. I will be making the auction public on Monday via Ebay as I want to send out a press release (they tend to be ineffective if released on weekends) but I stumbled across your site and thought maybe you would be interested. Matt, thank you for posting your accomplishments here. I wish you the very best of luck with your sale and hope it proves to be better than expected. A very nice gesture on your part. I am curious how you can name anyone else on the certificate, however.

Now I wonder, if Stan would sell me his German Cuff and I bought the cuff from Matt, could I get into the Guinness book by having the most Guinness World Record cuffs from Guinness World Record holders?
