Unknown Irish Eight, need help to identify...

Hi

Can somebody help me identify the Irish Eight cuff on the pictures. The stamp says; C COW??? and 1882. Even more useful information would be If somebody knows what key they take.

i also see a W in front of Cow which might mean William Cow and the C in the Middle might be a Code for the Key just a Guess.
