Today I came across several nice pairs of vintage Czechoslovak handcuffs RALK-SNB-49. All pairs are used, but in very good condition, fully working and with original keys. There is no rust on them, pawls have no signs of use. Some pairs are with longer elliptical eye of the chain (the first supply), others have shorter circular eye.
This model is quite rare, much rarer than successor SNB-53, because these cuffs were made for 4 years only (1949-1953). I personally see them as quite valuable item and good investment. It was quite problematic to find these cuffs for my collection originally, now I have several pairs for sale.
I dont wish to sell them on Ebay, because I want to sell them to collectors only and for a reasonable price, so if any of you is interested in these cuffs for your collection, please let me know.
I have limited quantity, so who comes earlier, wins. I think that this is an excellent chance for collectors from USA, Germany and other countries of the world to get this model in such a comfortable way.
On request I will send demo photos, there is a flat price 60 Dollars for one pair. The dead line or orders is Tuesday. Please serious orders only.
In February 1948 Communist party carried out revolution and began long period of totalitarianism in Czechoslovakia. Of course Czechoslovak armed forces were rebuilt and re-equipped. Handcuffs RALK-SNB-49 were the first common handcuffs introduced in Czechoslovakia and this model was the first ever made after this revolution. They are directly connected with this historical period.
