Small Arms Factory Museum.

Hi Everyone, I was at the Small Arms Factory museum in Lithgow, N.S.W. Australia, today and took some photos. Some of the cuffs are very interesting, in fact the whole museum was very good, housing everything from firearms to "Slazenger" golf clubs, once made by the S.A.F.
The museum is the only part of the original factory site not owned by ADI now.
I apologise for the poor quality of the photos.

The "bar" cuff is really wild.

It looks like a prototype to me. The "bar" appears to be no more than a piece of steel tubing staked into place. That would make sense if the shop was playing with the geometrics. Later on the bar design could easily be refined into something more secure. Or perhaps the project was dropped altogether and the prototype retired to the pattern room.
