Do people on this site that collect handcuffs also collect mail bags, and mail bag bars? I didn't know there was any interest in them. I have several of the mid size and large bags with bars from when my dad worked for a Armored Car company that would haul mail to and from banks. They are heavy canvas, much like a military duffel bag, and have the lock bar that goes thru them that accept a padlock. Please let me know if this is what you are talking about. I would like to know more about the mail bars in which you speak of also.
