Hiatt Cuffs

I have a pair of Hiatt cuff and need info about then.
They are marked
" HIATT" on the top of both sides.
"BEST" under that .
"WARRANTED WROUGHT" UNDER THAT.
The number "5" under the above.
On the part the key is inserted into is marked on both sides with the letters "JLF"
The Key is stamped "No. 5 HIATT"
They are in exelent condition and work great.
Any info and the value would be appreciated.

I assume you have a standard Hiatt Darby. It does not seem to say "British Made" so it is at least 80 years old. These are very common, because thousands of them were made of a period of about a century. A nice pair is worth about $60-$70 or so.
