My ebay guide

Hi,
If you remember, I wrote a guide about handcuff collecting and how to spot fakes and forgeries. Joe was kind enough to include a link to it in the index on the home page here.
I had asked all of you to vote for the guide and you did! My guide started at the bottom of the list and it has climbed into the TOP 1000.
Some of you asked if you could vote more than once, but the answer was: no, only 1 vote per eBay name. Some of you who have more than 1 name did vote again and I am doubly grateful for that.

I just found out that people in the UK could not read my guide if they searched for it while logged into eBay.UK. It was searchable only in the US eBay. I just added the article to the UK eBay and found out that everyone can vote for me and the article another time.

If you are so inclined, please go to this link and you can vote again at the bottom of the article. The votes are important to keep the rating high and gives it more exposure. I thank all of you again for the favor and I hope I will be able to return the favor to you one day. You do not need to sign into the UK eBay to vote, a log in on almost any eBay will allow you access.

Most of that fake slave crap and some other fake restraints are distributed by Great Western Trading Company, PO Box 10403, Marina Del Ray, CA. (No, it's not me.) I tripped across their booth at a trade show, a couple of weeks ago.

I guess if its someone else selling them that I shouldnt give Great western a hard time about the word 'great' in their name.

They have a lot of "old Americana" sort of kitch. It's well suited to the antique shop trade, but a lot of it is particularly well suited for abuse on fraudBay. Some of their "Black Americana" junk is pretty offensive, IMO.
