Tulsa, Ok Gun show, handcuff salesman

A fellow officer on my department recently found out I collected handcuffs. While he was talking to me about handcuffs the subject of S&W 925's came up. He told me a story of when he was younger and on a different department that he had a pair on guy he was arresting and the guy broke them. So I brought my new in the box set in to show him to help bring back old memories for my friend and kinda show off a little at the same time.

The next weekend of March 30th- April 1st my friend went to a big gun show in Tulsa, Ok. And while at this gun show he came across a table that he said had well over 30 handcuffs, different models, and ages, some new in box. He asked the guy if he had any S&W airweights and the guy pulled a new in the box set out from under the table. Of course my friend was not interested enough in them to pay the $400 price tag the guy had on them., But it got me thinking.

Dose anyone know who this seller was, or was it any one of you?

Would you happen to have a picture of these? Also, could you approximate the year of manufacture? I’ve never seen Smith & Wesson 925s and would like to append my records.

Go to the handcuff section on this website and click on the "S" section and scroll down to S&W 925, They made two airweight models, 925, nickel plated aluminum , 926 polished aluminum.

Check the archives on this forum, I believe the topic of age was covered By a few including Stan, the model 926 & 925 was introduced late 58 early 59 and went thru the late 60's
according to one source. Search by "polished 91 blued" thats what started the topic.

But check the archives, I was going thru them and seen a discussion on this very topic. If you need better pictures than the site provides, I'll be happy to email.

If you can't find them in the archives let me know, I'll pull them up and current for you too.
