interesting site. I have few Ralkems (9924, 9927, combination 9930) and i have seen, tried and picked "onhand" a Ralk (also all of my Ralkems)... But i have not known that there are so many different czech handcuffs. But i am shure that you do not have a "cutoff"-Ralkem. It can be seen at http://www.handschellenforum.de/forum/v ... php?t=1583 including a small "making of", inside views of lock and a picture of all parts. Sorry, text is in german but pictures tell enough. It was an idea born from a defective pair of Ralkems, the lock was a little bit jammed.

Your selfmade handcuffs are very interesting, the first model looks a little bit similar to my first selfmade handcuffs: I was about 16 when i made it, but it was made of 2mm aluminium, steel was too hard to manage at that time. Plates screwed together, no double lock. But my pair is lost many jears ago, so no photo is available.

Excellent collection, Josef, and much more comprehensive than my own.
The Star Model A Version II was also a nice surprise. Back in the 80’s, my supplier here in the U.S. instead offered the Alcyon 15900/1 cuffs.

Thanks for the link to your very interesting new site. For the cuffs from Gt Britain, you ought to be aware that most of the police forces in Britain use the rigid cuffs made by Hiatt - known as Speedcuffs. These are similar to the CDS Cyclone cuffs that you picture on your site, but they are not the same.
