I found a set of handcuffs when remodling a older home. The markings on it are as follows: The Peerless Handcuff Co, Springfied Mass Patent 1531451-1872857 and also this # by the key hole 530867 I was wondering how old they might be and whether I could get a key.

The # sign before the serial number indicates that the cuffs were made in just the last few years. You can get a key from any law enforcement supply house either online or near where you live.
