little thumb cuffs

I have recently seen some very small thumb cuffs that are proper little handcuffs with a very solid chain between them. These were deffinatly not toys and were very strong and solid looking. Any one any idea where they could have come from. They did not look antique they looked like something fury would make, not top of the line but certainly man enough for the job?

Could be:

"Super-K" chain thumbcuffs (Korean)

"Manila" chain thumcuffs (Manila)

Hi the photo of the Super K I have shows, clevis's and a single ring link between cuffs and the Manilla have usually one circular link between cuffs and are made from stainless steel and may or not have a cork polished surface. (circular polished marks over lapping each other)

I posted here about a year ago about a pair of thumbcuffs (apparently Chinese) that were unfortunately used to torture a Tibetan monk for political reasons. They looked very similar to the well known Super-K thumbcuffs, except for the fact that they had a rather long (maybe a foot) chain between them. Originally, I had seen the photo of the thumbcuffed monk in an international news report, but have since been unable to locate it. Also, the same article had a picture of a prisoner thumbcuffed with one arm behind his back and the other positioned behind his head, rather precariously. I believe the reason that these are so scarce is because they are of Chinese as opposed to Taiwanese manufacture.
