Help Identify these Cuffs

I have another pair of cuffs that I haven't been able to find any details on.
There are no markings on the cuffs to help identify them.

The interesting thing about these cuffs, is that I see a pair of them in the background image of this site:

Your cuffs are the first model East German cuff. The later models have swing through bows. This cuff is very common and often turns up on ebay. It is a nice looking and nicely made cuff.

These are often sold under the moniker of GDR handcuffs. Your non-swing-thru model is often referred to as the GDR High Security Model. These were produced by convict labor using cast and machined aluminum with nickel plated steel bows.

Hello James,

on the www.Cuffsland.com background you can the last (of three) models of GDR handcuffs (see picture). The one you've shown here is the first. There are two versions of this first model, which show some slight differences.
