EIG Handcuffs from Japan

Hello all! I have a set of "EIG" Handcuffs from Japan and I wonder if anyone has any info about them. To me, they look like copies of the Spanish Jay-Pee cuffs, however, they take the old style Peerless solid-post key. I have never seen a set quite like this, so any thoughts or info is greatly appreciated. Thanks! =)

Hi Mike:
I have the identical cuff, EXCEPT mine only has one connecting link instead of 2.
In the 1950's thru 1970's EIG Corp. was an importer of knives and guns from Italy, Spain, and other countries. I have another cuff style with the EIG brand, and it is made in Italy. I don't know if they are out of business, or what EIG stands for.

Hi Stan, thanks for the info! Do you know roughly how much a pair of these EIG cuffs are worth? My wife found them for me in Oklahoma earlier this week and I was wondering if she got a deal.

BTW, I live in Temperance, Michigan (just about 5 miles North of Toledo, Ohio).

I have an identical set for which I paid $35 on eBay some time ago.
