for Police i just had someone tell me that they have a 6 pin version of the 94s could this be true ? from what i know the 94s have a 4 pin could there be a higher security version of the 94s available and if so how rare are they or the keys for them.

Mmm, 6-pins are commonly found in tubular locks (such as "ACE") that are commonly sold in padlocks, alarm switches, etc.

....I have several different "Restricted" model #94s...and they all have their own 4-pin combinations.

Maybe your friend meant that there are (at least) 6 different "key-combinations" that the handcuffs can be factory set to?

yes i'll ask he says they were issied and are hard to find. from what i know the 94's are 4 pins he says his is 6 i never heard of a 6 pin thats why i'm asking here.

(After all, the 4-pin Restricted #94s are STILL in use in parts of the country).

I have never heard of a 6-pin version from any other collector in the past 30 years. I'm suspicious, but open-minded. A photo or more information would be most interesting.

Those are 4-pins (how do I know?...because those are MY cuffs:-)
