Hi,

I have been getting some great answers so far. I am finding out there there is a well known picture from the 70's that shows one of the Beatles locked in a Chubb Escort on the way to court or police station.
I would like to see that picture. Anyone have it?

Sorry if that was your final answer, but even though that was a good answer, it is not the correct one.

Another answer was the Hamburg 8, as the Beatles were in Hamburg when their fame began to sky rocket, but the correct answer has a bit more in common with the Fab 4 than this.

Keep trying before we have to go to commercial break!

We have had many contestants turn in their final answers. All have incorrectly guessed Star handcuffs for Ringo Starr. As there are 2 r's in Starr, that can not be the answer. Wadda think we run here on this World Class Website...
If someone has a Starr handcuff, you can receive the consolation prize......a new bedroom set with wide screen TV and a new washer and dryer.

Well, we had lots of guesses.
Yellow ASP or Hiatt powder coated cuffs for the Yellow Submarine.
Martin Handcuffs for their producer George Martin.
Revolier cuff for the album Revolver
McKenzie Mitts as in "I wanna hold your hand"
and quite a few others.

The "I wanna hold your Hand" and Starr cuffs were both on track but not right.

The answer which Jack Tannis correctly identified is the 1901 Nipper which shares the same name as "The Quiet Beatle", George Harrison.



Incidentally, There are other George Harrisons that are noteworthy:

One George was a prospector and discovered gold deposits in South Africa. News of his discovery led to a gold rush and the establishment of Johannesburg.

The other George is a senior executive for the video game company, Nintendo.

Great contest!

After 2 incorrect guesses (phonetic Star Handcuffs and McKenzie Mitts), I searched the nippers section of Yossie’s site. Sadly, there were no George Harrison nippers to be found.

“The Quiet Beatle” also had an illustrious solo career with such greats as My Sweet Lord. Behind That Locked Door and I Wanna Nip Your Wrist – LOL!
