Help Identifying Two Cuffs

After opening up a new box full of miscellaneous items, i've uncovered two more sets of cuffs.
Can any of you help me identify what these are?

The first is a large set, which is marked with 'HIATT' and two characters after the stamp which might be '75'?
The cuffs look like leg irons, but I do not see them listed on this site. Each cuff is 4 1/2" wide.






The second set is smaller than most of the cuffs i've seen recently. It's a Darby adjustible, and is marked with 'C & W R 216'. There is a plating that is peeling off on some parts of the cuffs. Each cuffs is only approx. 3 - 3 1/2" wide.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, but I am selling a few more items on eBay.
Now that these items are up on eBay, I will be posting pics of other cuffs I have discovered recently, in addition to the two pictured above.

hi JAMES,i have a pair of darby cuffs (NOT LEG IRONS) with the same "C" stamp on the end cap thay are also stamped with number 64, i think the "C" is the makers mark and the 64 & 75 are the numbering secquence made? as far as the c&wr's haven't seen them before but name looks like a railroad co name is there a c&w railroad in canada?

After searching a bit, I see there was a Columbia & Western Railway that operated in the BC Interior.
