#1Looking at my Clejuso keys, I am a little confusedÂ…
As per the photo, I have two #8 keys…but one has a “tail” on the bit, and the other does not.
Now, officially (via my Clejuso catalog photos) – I know that the bit with the “tail” is the key meant for their #8 non-swing leg iron.
So, why do I have several other marked #8 keys that do not have the “tail” piece?
The other day, I had to open the double-lock on the #15 handcuff, and one of my #8 “tail-less”’keys was able to unlock the DL from only ONE of the cuffs, and not the other one.
Although I have a #15 cuff in my collection – I can’t find a #15 key…so, I am led to believe that one of my #8 keys was sold with it?
Also, I recently obtained a Clejuso marked #13/15” key…which appears somewhat identical to the #8 non-tail key….is this a relatively new key that Clejuso makes?
In short, how interchangeable are these keys – from the #8 leg irons to the #13 & #15 handcuffs, and how come my keys that are marked with a #8 (leg irons) – are without the “tail” piece?
