I wish I had more documented information on these.
All the info I have for these was taken from past sales of these and its accuracy is questionable.
I have them listed as being made by Viking Manufacturing in the 1950's.
I did a seach on Viking and came up with a magic apperatus company, so I do not know how likely it is that they would have made such an item.
Wish I had more.

These are one of the neatest nippers ever made. I think the 50s date is reasonable, but who know who made them.

The information Mark has is the same that I have had for this neat Grip. There is no further information under either of the the two grip handles and I have never found any further info on these. Ian did make some good copies several years ago, but the one on ebay is a real one.

this metal fabricating company got its start
in 1950. perhaps they made the gripper / come-along,
or components for it that some other company assembled.
