I don't know handcuffs but found a pair in the box at a yardsale today. Looking for their value.
They are black in a dark maroon box. Serial number (hand written)on the box and cuffs match 148372
Any Idea of mfg date or value?

Those cuffs probably cost between 20 and 50 dollars.

To give the accurate age of your restraints we need to know a few details. Please answer the following questions for each set of restraints. Call, fax or email (info@peerless.net) the answers. We will research our records and provide what information we can.

1. What is the model number or style of restraint? (Chain Link Handcuff, Hinged Handcuff, Leg Iron…etc.)

2. What is the serial number?

3. Is there a "#" sign before the serial number?

4. How is Massachusetts marked? Is it "MA" or "MASS"?

5. Is there a key post in the keyway or is there a hole in the opposite side of the cuff?
