All of the mint ones that I have seen did not come in a box. Instead, they were displayed inside a 2-ply plastic clam shell similar to how the ASP cuffs are presented.
The plastic on your pair has yellowed and become too brittle to keep. They have traveled to a few shows with me and have been handled so they might only be a 9 1/2 now.
