Peerless - serial numbers

Does anyone know what serial number range that the
Peerless model 1 version 2 started with?

This is the model marked on back of both cuffs,
PAT.FEB.20.1912
` NOV.23.1915

I have that model with no serial number, and with ser nos. 234 and 1893.

Thanks Stan, I have one that is unmarked also.

I notice that the stampings on my un-numbered cuffs
is smaller than markings on the cuffs with serial numbers.

The numbered ones I have range between #'s 1375 to 14500

Do you also know when Peerless came out with the next
model that uses the end of the key to set the double lock?

Does the short Peerless key work on this later model?

234 is actually 284.
The short key works the later cuffs, including the double lock plunger.
