They don't look familiar to me. I doubt if they are German made. WWI? Don't think so. Correct me if I'm wrong

Yes, I think theyre all to rough made to be of german origin. European and American cuffs are high quality craftmanship compared to this.

From WW1? Come on, the Peerless 1912 had just been released, and then someone makes such a horrible copy?

These cuffs are interesting; I have never seen a pair quite like them.....and I would bet hard cash that they are NOT repro crap. If someone here wins them, please take and post more pictures of them from other angles after you get them in hand. I would LOVE to see these up close, in person.

The bodies remind me of something I've seen before. Those Chinese brass cuffs? My brain is a mush, right now.

My guess would be 1950s or so, but the yould be as early as the 20s. I think WW-I would be too early for them.

Too much, but for some the whole point of collecting is to have

This crude style reminds me on a US Bockin or a French La Policiere. Both look simple and have big keys. And both are quite expensive!

I am suprised at all of the negitive comments about these cuffs being "crude". I really like them.....maybe the winner of the auction and I both see something in them that the other collector's don't??? =)

not really negative as I personally think that the Bockin
handcuffs look crappy and cheap also. big teeth like a
bicycle sprocket. If I happen across a pair cheap I will
gladly post them and sell them for big $$$.

I do think the buyer likes them, or else he wouldnt have bidded on them.

I look forward to get comments from the buyer when they arrives, and hopefully I´m wrong in my opinion, and the cuffs turn out to be some rare goodies. That would be nice.
