My question would be since the pictures are so poor, is this the real deal or another one of those fakes. And at a $760 price tag at last check, I know I would be pissed off if it was a fake.

I am suprised no one with any common sense has yet come to the conclusion that there was no need at all for any sort of brass or other tag to identify exactly who was a slave and who was not.

These tags are stupid forgeries made to fool stupid people.

I seem to recall a number of threads here discussing the possible slave origins of this or that set of restraints. Its been pointed out that almost any set of restraints that could have been used for slaves could have equally as well been used for any kind of prisoner. Slave tags had no other use.
