Yes, the end of an era has come. On the flip side, this is the first time of which I am aware of any manufacturing being outsourced to the United States.

end of an era - beginning of the DOWNFALL - we must salute the BRITS as they are smart & have seen the writing on the wall -- costs more THERE to make the cuffs ( materials etc & LABOR ) so they MOVE their factory to the U.S.A where the cost will be cheaper !!! now for the rest of the story !!! the smart BRITS know that once it is NO LONGER cheaper to make the cuffs in the U.S.A -- that the U.S.A corporation will have NO QUALMES about having the cuffs made in another COUNTRY by yet cheaper labor, but having the HIATT name stamped on them.... the BRITS have scruples !!! or do they ??? we know the U.S.A corps do NOT.... joe

I heard on the TV the other day that there are manufacturing jobs starting to come back to the USA, from China no-less. With the price of oil skyrocketing, the price of goods from China is doing the same. The fall of the dollar also helps stimulate the manufacturing end here.

I guess China could drop the age of child labor and add more slave labor to reverse their costs of operation.

Which revolution was that? 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th? On the other hand, I'm glad to see Communism working so well in China. It's a shame they let them only have one child per household.
