I recently found a quantity of ORIGINAL Old Style, solid bit, PEERLESS keys. They are used, but in excellent condition. I also have a few old Style Peerless cuffs, and 3 are marked "Detroit Police".

Sorry about the delay in getting back to the forum. I have tried to contact you personally about purchasing one or two keys suitable for a single link S&W handcuff & leave my email address. Unfortunately I am unable to find a way of doing this - would it therefore be possible to place the keys on ebay? BTW, I am living in the U.K., would posting be a problem?

Any chance your keys might work with a Tower bottom key leg irons?  They seem to have a solid shaft, but I don't know the cut of the bit.

The shaft is likely too wide for a Tower B.K. restraint. The bit may also need to be filed to enter the keyway. Cheers, Steve

Yes, the "flag" is high enough. You can open Tower edge key cuffs and irons with a bit that is shorter than the top of the keyway. You can also modify a Peerless bit key to open a Tower edge key, a Cummings, etc, but it takes a lot of hand filing to do it properly.
