The notches on the bow, which would seem to indicate a gear type pawl as oppossed to a ratchet, I would say the cuff is Asian in origin or perhaps Czech.

Hi Stan

I'm pretty shure that these cuffs are Czech origin
I've seen more of these cuffs
and made A lot of keys for these kind of cuffs

It is A nice piece for your collection

I guess they are of Hungarian origin. They are very similar in some respects to older Hungarian cuffs. Czech cuffs have never used solid key. In addition I have never seen any specimen in my country...
